Over the past several years, CCS has conducted trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
In central Mexico, CCS students and faculty helped in the construction of churches in the rural areas surrounding the city of Tamazunchale. Living with local families during the week, participants in the mission trip were able to experience life outside of their comfortable American culture and put into practice all of the Spanish classes they take each year.
In March 2010 a team of students, faculty, and parents traveled to the Dominican Republic to conduct Vacation Bible School for about 180 Dominican children. Free time was spent out on the street playing baseball with the neighborhood kids and hanging out with newly made friends.
