Wayne L. Brown Auditorium
In order to adequately engage the complete student – spirit, mind, body and heart – we have committed to building a new auditorium which will house a full basketball/volleyball court and a prosceniums stage. Currently, we are able to use other facilities to meet the needs of our sports and our drama programs, but as both of these programs continue to grow, we will need our own building for these activities.
Wayne L. Brown was a founder of CCS and a driving force behind the gymnasium/theater project. After a lifetime of dedicated service to his Lord, he was called home in January of 2010. The new gymnasium/theater will be called the Wayne L. Brown Auditorium in his honor.
Currently, we are in the fund-raising phase of the project. As with all CCS building projects, we will build as the Lord provides, without incurring debt. We hope to break ground in the spring of 2011. If you would like to contribute to this project, whether it be financially, with expertise, or with labor, please contact the school office at 207-832-4229.
